Whether you craft alone or with your favorite people, these easy fall craft ideas are just what you need to jumpstart cozy fall creativity. From home decor and layered cards to simple step-by-step projects, Stampin’ Up! has your fun fall crafting covered.

Build a Stamped Leaf Garland or Framed Leaf Art
There is nothing more quintessentially fall than leaves, so we start there! Bring those warm fall colors indoors with a stamped leaf garland or framed leaf art using just a few basic crafting supplies—and maybe one fancy one—to really make your home shine.
Step One
First, gather cardstock in your favorite colors from the Frightfully Fun Times Two-Tone Cardstock pack along with the Simply Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set and some coordinating ink. Stamp leaf images onto the cardstock in a few patterns and sizes for variety.
Step Two
Make your designs pop with gorgeous gold foil accents! Add foiled leaf veins, borders, or even a solid gold focal leaf using the Stampin’ Hot Foil System. Just layer up your hot foil die, gold foil, paper, and Hot Foil Shim & Spacer for a next-level shimmer to your garland. Learn exactly how to use the Hot Foil System here.
Step Three
If you’ve got the Simple Leaf Punch, line up your stamped images with the punch’s outline and quickly cut them out! If not, you can use scissors to cut out your leaves. For bundled savings, buy the Simply Leaves Bundle, which comes with stamps and a punch.
Step Four
Think about where you want to hang your garland (consider a doorway, the mantle, on the wall over your desk, etc.) and cut a length of coordinating ribbon or twine to match, leaving enough length on either side to tie a bow or knot for hanging. Then arrange the leaves along the ribbon, gluing them into place when you’re happy with the look.
Step Five
Hang your stamped garland in a place of pride and enjoy your custom fall art!
A cool thing about this technique is that it can be applied to a number of other autumn craft ideas! We love a layered leaf look for fall greeting cards, complete with a variety of colors, patterns, and textures.

Plus, incorporating extra embellishments like colored dots and switching out your sentiment to something homey can instantly turn a fall card design into beloved home decor that makes an appearance year after year! and switching out your sentiment to something homey can instantly turn a fall card design into beloved home decor that makes an appearance year after year!
This stamping technique can move beyond greetings and home decoration. Beautiful stamped imagery can easily find its way onto scrapbook and bullet journaling pages as well! And remember, uniformity was never Mother Nature’s way. Scatter some leaves about and see how things shake out—that natural “just fallen” look may just steal the show. (Oh, and we’ll never say no to a little extra gold foil here and there!).

Build a Mini Corn Patch, Complete with Scarecrows & Crows
What’s cuter than a corn patch in the fall? For this autumn craft idea, we’ll build the sweetest one you’ve ever seen, complete with not-so-scary scarecrows and their friends, the crows!

Step One
Gather all your supplies!
- Fun for Fall Bundle
- Cardstock in Basic White, Pecan Pie, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive
- Basic Black Hybrid Ink
- Stampin’ Blends markers
- Paper adhesive
- Paper trimmer
Step Two
Stamp your scarecrow, banner, and crows in black ink on white cardstock. Then color them in with Stampin’ Blends markers for a dynamic and three-dimensional effect. You can choose your own colors, but we’ve used markers in Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, and Petal Pink to great effect here!
Step Three
Stamp your hay bale directly onto Crushed Curry cardstock.
Step Four
Die cut your stamped and colored imagery using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the coordinating dies from the Fun for Fall Bundle. And here’s our pro tip: while some prefer die cutting before coloring, we like to die cut second so you have plenty of surface area to work with as you color. If you make a mistake, you can always stamp again and cut out your favorite one later!
Step Five
Cut your non-stamped shapes (the corn, stalks, and fence) using the dies from the set. For the stalks, you can use both sides of the Old Olive Two-Tone Cardstock for added dimension and perfectly coordinated visual interest!
Step Six
Assemble all your pieces in a way that speaks to you! Feel free to add more or less of anything shown in our example—after all, crafting should be fun!
