What is World Card Making Day? (The Best Day EVER!)
We love paper crafting because it offers us an opportunity to show crafters how the creativity and personality they bring to their artwork can create meaningful connections with loved ones. After all, our goal is to connect people through paper crafting. This year’s World Card Making Day is Saturday, October 4th, and it’s the perfect day to enjoy the connection the Stampin’ Up! community has to offer!
You can gather your fellow crafters and make a party of it, or revel in the “you-time” of it all. However you choose to celebrate, we hope you’ll join us at our free virtual event where we will share everything you need to make a card to send a little love to someone special.
Stampin’ Up! World Card Making Day Event
Any day is a great day to craft, but the BEST day is World Card Making Day. This special day always falls on the first Saturday in October, and it’s the perfect reason to break out your supplies or treat yourself to some new ones and create the perfect card for someone special in your life. The Stampin’ Up! team would love to celebrate with you. It’s become a tradition around here to host a virtual event on World Card Making Day. It’s an opportunity for crafters of all experience levels to have fun and create something together without ever having to leave home.

The event is free to attend and open to everyone. Registration is now available and goes through October 3, 2025. While you don’t need to register to attend, we recommend it to ensure you have all of the information you need to make the day a success and receive our attendee appreciation gift. We will be working on several projects, so please register to get all the information ahead of time.

Participating in Stampin’ Up! World Card Making Day Event
The projects we use during the event are suitable for any level of crafter, from beginners to experts, and of course, we love seeing how people add their own flair and personality to their cards. If you want to share your love of crafting, this is a great opportunity to invite friends and family to follow along and see why so many people love paper crafting. Many Stampin’ Up! demonstrators also host parties for the World Card Making Day event, so contact your demonstrator or find one here to join a watch party.
The day of the event, you’ll want to gather your supplies and prepare your workspace with good lighting. Make sure you have a strong Internet connection and a TV, computer, phone, or tablet to watch the YouTube broadcast. And don’t forget the snacks, because snacks are always a good idea. The best way to ensure you have everything you need is to register for the World Card Making Day event in advance, although registration is not required.
