If you’re a fan of innovative treat packaging, you’ll love our cute, new Suitcase Treat Box.

We’re working with The Suitcase Treat Box and inviting crafters to show us their favorite way to make this plain white treat box extra special by stepping it up! If you’re not familiar with our term “Step It Up”, it refers to the level of complexity in a project. You can step your crafting techniques up or down depending on how much time, resources, or creativity you have at that time.

If you look at the image above, you’ll see a most simple version on the left, with a “step up” in the middle, and the one on the right is what we’d consider the most intricate and involved. The point is that all of the DIY treat boxes pictured above will delight the recipient, and it’s just a matter of how you want to craft at any given time.

If you’re a fan of innovative treat packaging, you’ll love our cute, new Suitcase Treat Box. The coordinating Tags to Go Dies give you lots of fun options for die-cut tags, keys, etc., to dress up your “suitcase,” along with our On the Go Designer Series Paper and Tags to Go Stamp Set.

These suitcase-shaped treat boxes are perfect for travel-themed gift giving—the size makes them ideal to hold a gift card for a recipient who is heading on an adventure soon.

To create these adorable, stepped-up samples, we chose one advanced technique to use on all of the projects—ink blending. “I love ink blending to change the color of our base products,” our Concept Artist shared. “The options are only limited by our inks.” In this case, we used Melon Mambo, but you can use any color combination that fits your recipient best.
