WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STAMPIN’ SEAL & STAMPIN’ SEAL+?

Both Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Seal+ are quick-bond, permanent adhesives. While they are the same in design and concept, there are some key differences to note when it comes to use between these two products. Stampin’ Seal was designed for those light-duty projects that still need a good bond. It’s perfect for cardstock, ribbon, and other lighter crafting elements. Stampin’ Seal+ takes all the good of Stampin’ Seal and steps it up with a stronger bond—making it a go-to for 3D projects and heavier layers.

HOW TO USE STAMPIN’ SEAL & STAMPIN’ SEAL+

Using Stampin’ Seal & Stampin’ Seal+ is easy. First, make sure you are working on a flat surface. To apply the adhesive, pop off the cap and roll gently, using a light pressure and tilting your wrist up as you go. To finish, just lift the applicator for a clean break. You may notice that Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Seal+ have different textures. This is on purpose—different tools for different jobs. Choose the one that fits your project, and your crafts will stick around in the best way.

HOW TO LOAD AND REFILL YOUR STAMPIN’ SEAL CASE

The Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Seal+ case is designed to fit in the palm of your hand, making application of the adhesive simple and mess-free. It holds a tape cartridge that gives you 16.4 yards of snail. The best part? When you run out of adhesive with all the crafting you’ve been doing, you can replace the cartridge with a refill.

To refill your Stampin’ Seal case:

  • Take off the cap.
  • Squeeze the top of the case and pull it apart.
  • Remove the used cartridge.
  • Place a new cartridge in the case.
  • Snap the case back together.

That’s all there is to it! With a process that simple, you’ll be back to crafting in no time.

HOW TO GET THE MOST FROM YOUR STAMPIN’ SEAL

Using Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Seal+ is simple, but as with anything, there are always some tips and tricks to getting the most out of your papercrafting tools. If the adhesive tail breaks while you are using the product, simply add slight pressure to get it rolling again. You may also experience some tearing when using Stampin’ Seal on more fibrous papers due to the strength of the bond. If this happens, simply stop, adjust the location of your application, and proceed as usual.
