What is World Card Making Day? (The Best Day EVER!)

We love paper crafting because it offers us an opportunity to show crafters how the creativity and personality they bring to their artwork can create meaningful connections with loved ones. After all, our goal is to connect people through paper crafting. World Card Making Day is the perfect day to enjoy the connection that the Stampin’ Up! community has to offer! 

We made this year’s World Card Making Day a little more magical with a free virtual event where we shared everything you need to make a card to send a little love to someone special.

Event Details and Registration Information

World Card Making Day in 2024 was Saturday, 5 October, and it was so exciting to craft with you that day.

The projects we are using during the event are suitable for any level of crafter, from beginners to experts, and of course, we hope you will add your own flair and personality to your card.
The projects we made together at the event were a bit different than the samples we’ve included in this post, but we wanted to offer some inspiration for World Card Making Day!

Participating in Stampin’ Up! World Card Making Day Event

The projects we used during the event are suitable for any level of crafter, from beginners to experts, and of course, we loved seeing how people added their own flair and personality to their cards. For those who wanted to share their love of crafting, this was a great opportunity to invite friends and family to follow along and see why so many people love paper crafting. Many Stampin’ Up! demonstrators also hosted parties for the World Card Making Day event, so contact your demonstrator or find one here to join a watch party for our next event.

During our craft-along event, we shared additional card-making ideas to inspire your future projects and took you behind the scenes to show you how we created the products we were working with.
